Seattle is bustling with activities this weekend! From Seafair’s Torchlight Parade, to Scottish Highland Games and Aquafest, to car shows, art shows and music festivals, there’s something for everyone!
Seafair kicks off over Memorial Day weekend with the Seattle Rock and Roll Marathon and Half, and there are festivals and celebrations all summer long. But the culmination of Seafair is the Torchlight Parade, Fleet Week of Boats, Hydroplane Races and Air Show.
The Seafair Torchlight Run, sponsored by Michelob ULTRA, is a Seattle tradition, and one of the best happy hours of the summer! Wear your pirate gear, and pick the 8K or 5K fun run. You’ll end the run along the Torchlight Parade route!
It’s time to start thinking about Seafair again! Reserved bleacher seating for this year’s Alaska Airlines Seafair Torchlight Parade will go on-sale on Wednesday, April 27. The parade takes place on Saturday, July 30th, and leaves from the Seattle Center down 4th Avenue. Get your tickets to the parade, head downtown Seattle early Saturday morning and stake a curbside seats along the two-and-a-half mile route hours before the 7:30 pm start.
