The college bar scene in Seattle is first rate. Students will find no shortage of fun establishments offering a college night, most within walking distance to universities, so students can fully take advantage of all the cheap deals. Many Seattle bars, like these, often cater to college students nightly by offering drink specials and no cover charges for students with college or university IDs and more.

One of Seattle’s best dance clubs and college bars, Cowgirls Inc. is the only bar in the area with a mechanical bull. This hotspot offers a “Coyote Ugly” style theme with an all-female bar staff that dances periodically for its patrons. Cowgirls’ best nights for students include “Threesome Thursdays,” where all guys and all girls pay no cover charge, and all house drinks and beers are a flat $3.

Nightly college specials are offered here, including deals on items from the Italian menu and happy hour specials on beer and well drinks from 4–8 p.m. If you’re looking to let loose at the end of the week, Fridays feature $4.50 margaritas and hairy navels. Bring a group friends to watch the game on one of three flat-screen TVs, or try your hand at a game of pool or darts.

This pub is housed within a historic building complex known as The College Inn, which was built in 1909. The pub itself was established in 1974 and sits directly across from the University of Washington campus, making it a popular watering hole for UW students. Sundays are a co-ed favorite––pool is free and drinks are cheaper than regular happy hour, with $3.50 pints and wells. What better way to kick off a week of studying than with free games and beers on the cheap?

Dante’s Seattle has been around since the mid 1960s and draws large crowds of students nightly for more reason than one. The notorious serial killer Ted Bundy was said to have frequented this popular college hangout while he was a student at the University of Washington. If the history and creepiness of that fact isn’t enough to bring you to check it out, the drink specials will be. Every night is a college party night at Dante’s. The bar not only offers nightly drink specials and menu specials, like $1 off happy hours and $2 wells on Mondays, but also free beer pong tournaments, karaoke, DJs and dancing.
