In the mood for some bowling? Here’s the list of the best bowling alleys in the Seattle area. Garage, Lucky Strikes, TechCity — there’s are plenty of affordable and fun options.

Garage

1130 Broadway
Seattle, WA 98122
(206) 322-2296
www.garagebilliards.com

You can do way more than bowl at Garage, but let’s stay on topic. The place is open 3 p.m. – 2 a.m. every day and only those 21 and older can bowl (obviously not a family spot). Rates range from $5 – $25 for hourly lane rentals depending on when you want to bowl (and $10 extra if you want to reserve a lane), and shoes will set you back another $3.50. Show up after 10 p.m. Sunday – Thursday and it’s $5 per hour for a lane. The food is nothing to rave about, as it’s pretty average. Overall, Garage is a cool, clean and spacious atmosphere to get in a good game or two of bowling.

West Seattle Bowl

4505 39th Ave SW
Seattle, WA 98116
(206) 932-3731
www.westseattlebowl.com

West Seattle Bowl is open from from 11 a.m. – 1 a.m. just about every day (Sunday: 10 a.m – 12 a.m.; Tuesday 12 p.m – 1 a.m.). Hourly lane rates run from $19 – $26 with shoe rental at $3.50. On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. bowling rates are slashed in half, and WSB is also know for its super-awesome Quartermania on Sundays and Wednesdays (bowl for as little as 25 cents a game!). West Seattle Bowl gets props for being a clean, laid-back and friendly place to knock down some pins. And the food isn’t half bad either.

TechCity Bowl

13033 NE 70th Pl
Kirkland, WA 98033
(425) 827-0785
www.techcitybowl.com

Spiffy TechCity Bowl opens at 11 a.m. and closes at 2 a.m. most days. Hourly lane rates range from $19 – $25 and shoes costs $4.50 to rent, but there are plenty of great deals to be got after 9 p.m. (like $10 unlimited bowling and free shoes Sundays – Thursdays). TechCity is also very kid-friendly, with special deals just for K-12 students. The menu and drink fare are average, so it’s the bowling deals that make this place rock.

Lucky Strike Lanes & Lounge

700 Bellevue Way NE
Ste 250
Bellevue, WA 98004
(425) 453-5137
www.bowlluckystrike.com
http://www.facebook.com/luckystrikebell

With locations in about a dozen states, one might expect Lucky Strike Lane & Lounge to have all the trappings of swanky club, and it kind of does: no 21-and-under patrons after 8 p.m., an enforced dress code, premium suites with private lanes, and hefty prices. It opens around 11 a.m. daily and closes at 12 p.m. or 2 a.m. (Friday and Saturday). If you’re not into the typical bowling alley and want to social and play in an atmosphere with a little glitz, then Lucky Strike Lane & Lounge is for you. If you’re looking for a deal, the best time to bowl is Mondays at 9 p.m. ($15 unlimited bowling and shoes).
