A bit off the beaten track, this cafe is situated in a residential neighborhood just behind Volunteer Park (its namesake). The cafe is known for its bright, comfortable environment, as well as its stellar fare including lunch, dinner and even special Sunday Suppers that feature an evening of delectable bites. That said, you can’t go wrong by starting your day with one of its simple but well celebrated brie and apple panini served on baguette or croissant with lavender honey. And the bonus is this lovely start to the day will set you back just six bucks. Beat that!
