The Museum of Flight houses both historic airplanes and helicopters, and is located by Boeing Field. This down-to-earth tour shares the aerospace history of the greater Seattle area. The museum collection includes a Bell “Huey” UH-1H Iroquois helicopter that saw combat in the Vietnam War, and a HH-52 Seaguard: The Flying Life Boat which was used by the US Coast Guard. This rescue helicopter is used to save lives on open water, and this one is credited with saving over 15,000 lives.
