St. Patrick’s Day is approaching fast, and you won’t want to miss out on any of these local St. Patty’s Day celebrations taking place in Seattle. Located near Seattle’s Safeco and Centurylink Fields, F.X. McRory’s Steak Chop and Oyster House annually celebrates St. Patrick’s Day in style. Each year, it opens its doors at 9:30 a.m. and features a special Irish-themed menu, a live band that plays Irish folk music and an authentic Irish piping, drum and dance group. All of these festivities will take place in the main bar and will last throughout the evening of St. Patrick’s Day. Choose from menu items such as traditional Irish stew and beef and Guinness shepherd’s pie, as well as drinks like Jameson Irish coffee, Guinness Stout and 44 variations of Irish whiskey.

Kells Irish Restaurant and Pub in Seattle will host its 33rd annual Irish Festival for St. Patrick’s Day. This celebration is for anyone 21 and over, and there will be a $20 admission charge that can be paid in advance or at the door. Authentic Irish music and dancing will begin at noon on St. Patrick’s Day. Guests will have an extensive menu of traditional Irish foods to choose from, including Irish stew, corned beef, soda bread and Kells own brewed, Irish lagers and ales.

Fado Irish Pub and Restaurant in Seattle will open its doors at 8 a.m. on St. Patrick’s Day. For its annual St. Patrick’s Day party, Fado’s will serve a full Irish menu for brunch, lunch and dinner. No minors will be allowed into the establishment after 2 p.m. and a $10 cover charge will be required for the remainder of the day. Bands playing for St. Patrick’s Day include JP and The Stray Sods, as well as the always popular Kennedy Brothers as the headlining act.

Paddy Coyne’s at Seattle’s Pier 70 is hosting an all-day St. Patrick’s Day party with live music beginning at noon. The bar will be family-friendly until 5 p.m. but for the evening hours, no minors will be allowed. Bands playing this year include Erin McNamee, The Robert Stewart Fiasco and the Irish band The Voodoos. No cover will be charged and it’s recommended you arrive early, as seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Mulledy’s Irish Pub will be hosting its annual St. Patrick’s Day Prix Fixe, which includes an authentic, five-course Irish dinner. The Prix Fixe requires a reservation, is $45 per person, and will be served from 5 to 10 p.m. on St. Patrick’s Day. This year’s menu will include parsnip soup, radish and fennel salad, corned beef, iced cherry dolce and a whipped chocolate dessert. Guests can also enjoy a limited edition Irish single malt (only 1,000 bottles were made), which was bottled by the Palace Bar in Dublin, Ireland.
