If it’s a gay or lesbian bar you’re looking for, Seattle has several good choices. Wildrose, The Lobby Bar, Re-Bar, Purr Cocktail Lounge and Pony all offer happy hour specials and unique atmospheres that can’t be beat by any other city.

Wildrose is primarily a lesbian bar frequented by both gay and straight patrons. Don’t let the overpriced (but strong) drinks keep you away from the Wildrose, it’s still worth a visit thanks to the dance floor and outdoor patio. Check out Monday trivia night, $1 taco Tuesdays and $4 Bloody Mary Sundays.

The Lobby might have long lines to get in, but people are waiting for good reason. Fun, kitschy and spacious, this place has great martinis, including the key lime pie – our favorite – clean bathrooms, and a modern, open upstairs area with plenty of seating. The Lobby food is also a cut above the rest with an emphasis on locally-grown ingredients.
