University Village is an upscale, open-air shopping mall in the University District of Seattle – located at 2623 NE University Village Street, Seattle WA 98105. The UVillage is continuing to expand, with shops that have recently opened, and some on their way this fall.

Microsoft will be opening at UVillage in October, 2011. It’s their 12th box store, and the second in Washington. You’ll be able to buy Microsoft software, devices and hardware directly from the manufacturer.

Menchie’s fro yo franchise is headed to UVillage. This fast growing frozen yogurt chain began in California in 2007, and already has four outlets in Washington, and will be adding three new shops, including the one at University Village.

Fran’s Chocolates is open at UVillage, in a temporary spot while the newer, larger storefront will be opening this fall.

The new, locally owned Grace Kitchen has opened, offering coffee service, lunch and a full dinner menu of American comfort food: soups, salads, sandwiches. Cocktails, beer and wine are also served.

Paper Source, now open, is a collection of paper goods from around the world. Handmade papers, gift wrap, and letterpress cards, invitations and stationery.

Margaret O’Leary is a European designer and creator of comfortable knitwear. Sweaters, scarves, sportswear and more.
