Celebrate Halloween in the style of past centuries with ghost stories told around a roaring bonfire! Follow a trail of glowing jack-o-lanterns to the bonfire where storytellers from the past will send shivers down your spine as their words bring forth the spirits of the fur trade. The storytelling begins with ‘gentler’ tales; and after a break for complimentary cider and cookies, the stories get increasingly scarier! Come and find out what scared people in 1855 as you listen to ghost stories the way they’re supposed to be told – outside and in the dark! Dress for the weather, bring a blanket, but please no umbrellas. There are some bleachers and benches, but they do not have any back rests – so feel free to bring a small lawn chair. Seating starts at 6:30, stories start promptly at 7pm. Cost: $5/adults and $3/children 12 and under. $20/family (up to 2 adults and children/youth)
