Snowfall in the mountains of Western Washington means an early start to ski and snowboard season! Crystal Mountain and Mount Baker have planned openings on Friday, November 18. Snoqualmie, Stevens and Mission Ridge plan to open Saturday, November 19. Please be sure to check with Washington State Department of Transportation HERE for a snow report before you head out.

Snoqualmie Summit West

Opening Saturday and Sunday, November 19 and 20m, from 9:00am – 4:00pm with limited operations. Chair lifts in operation will be Pacific Crest, Little Thunder, Dodge Ridge and Julie’s. Special early-season lift ticket pricing will be in effect, $35 for adults, $30 for youth and $12 for kids. West will shut down Monday and Tuesday, November 21 and 22 before re-opening Wednesday, November 22. The Terrain Park, individual and group lessons will also begin on Saturday, November 19.

Mission Ridge

Opening for weekend operations beginning Saturday and Sunday, November 19 and 20. It’s Mission Ridge’s earliest opening since 1984. There will be limited operations on 2 chairs for a total of 2,250 vertical feet.

Stevens Pass

Opening starts Saturday, November 19, 9:00am – 4:00pm. There will be limited operations, and the Brooks & Daisy chairlifts. Additional terrain and chairlifts will be added as conditions allow. Because early season conditions exist, staying on the groomed runs is recommended. Reduced lift ticket prices available.

Mt. Baker
56 miles east of Bellingham on State Hwy 542 –
(Take exit 255 from I-5)

All lifts and both base areas open on Friday, November 19. Hours: 9:00am – 3:20pm with midweek prices and main runs open. Standard rentals and all Instruction programs will be available at the upper Heather Meadows Base Area.

Crystal Mountain

Limited operations for skiing and riding on Friday, November 18th. The terrain open on Friday will service intermediate and advanced slopes only. All guests must download the gondola to access the base area. No uphill hiking in closed areas. Saturday and Sunday: Discovery, Chinook Express, Forest Queen, Green Valley and the Mt. Rainier Gondola will be open from 9:00am – 4:00pm (upper mountain closes at 3:30pm, lower mountain at 4:00pm). Early-season conditions lift tickets will be discounted. Early season conditions do exist, so please stay on groomed trails.
