CookieFest 2011 is this Saturday, December 10 and it’s bigger and better than ever. More than 10,000 cookies are available for sale, and Miss Washington Brittney Henry will make a special appearance from 9-11, according to the CookieFest website.
Due to last year’s overwhelming demand for cookies, doors at the downtown Macy’s will open one hour earlier this year at 9:00am. 25 of Seattle’s best bakeries and culinary schools have joined in with tasty holiday treats. All proceeds benefit the Seattle Milk Fund. Miss Washington, Brittney Henry will be on hand for photos and autographs. Free arts & crafts activities to entertain the kiddies while CookieFest shoppers make their selections.
