The Pacific Science center is pleased to announce a huge variety of cool Winter Camps for kids in grades 1-8! At the Mercer Slough camps in Bellevue, learn about animal tracking, geocaching or how to snowshoe! At Seattle’s Pacific Science Center, learn about wetlands, snow or how to make gingerbread! Seattle Children’s Theatre provides Winter Break Programs for kids in grades 1 – 12. From theatrical comedy classes, to one day intensives on make-up, backstage handlers and audition skills, to exploring friendships with the delightful adventures of Frog and Toad. Arnold Lobel’s award-winning series will inspire our classes in art, movement and drama. Extended care hours are availalble. Classes range from $75 – $275, and from one day to five days in length. A refreshing creative break from regular school! Students dabble in many different art forms over the course of the week; each day is different. Classes are available on a per-day or week long basis, with a discounted price when a student signs up for the whole Monday – Friday week. Come for a half-day or a full day session, with time for secure and supervised breaks in the adjoining park. All art supplies included; students need to bring their own healthy snacks and lunch. Space is limited in this popular annual event; Full tuition is required with registration to hold your space. Ages 7-12 accepted (first grade & up, please).
