On Sunday, February 26, Seattle’s finest restaurants and more than a thousand wines from around the world team up to bring you a premier gourmet experience at the Seattle Food and Wine Experience. The event will take place at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall from 12:00pm – 5:00pm.

The Seattle Food and Wine Experience is a premier showcase for wine and food in the Northwest. Experience this world tour of wine, beer and all things culinary. Taste wine, beer, cider, coffee, non-alcoholic beverages, artisan foods, gourmet restaurants. A Souvenir wine glass is provided for your tastings.

Wines from all around the world will be featured, however the regional featured wine this year is Oregon. There will be plenty of Washington wine represented, too, along with local and national beers and ciders. Head to Northwest Distillery Row to sip your way through some exceptional tastings.

In the 6-7-8 Audi Lounge + Oyster bar, you’ll have bubbles and oysters to try, plus lots of artisan foods to sample and purchase.

There will be 20 local chefs preparing gourmet bites, including Chef Thierry Rautureau (the Chef in the Hat from Rover’s and Luc restaurants). Chef Kaspar of Kaspar’s Special Events and Catering will be whipping up mouthwatering dishes in the Mashed Potato Bar.

Some of the restaurants featured include Lola, Ray’s Boathouse, and Purple Café. The Washington Beef Bistro will be highlighting dishes from Andaluca, The Capital Grille, LUC and Trellis.

Stop at the Fonté Coffee Lounge for an espresso and a chance to hear live music.

No one under 21 will be admitted and ID is required.

Proceeds from the event will benefit The Giving Grapes Foundation, a 501c3 organization that assists local charities who provide financial assistance to service industry professionals who have to take time off work due to injury or illness.
