The easiest way for parents to stick to their exercise plans is to find a gym that provides childcare. These five Seattle fitness centers take the stress out of sweating it out by keeping the kids entertained.

Childcare prices: Family members receive 10 hours free per month with additional time at $3 per hour.
Childcare hours: Mon to Thurs – 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Fri – 8 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Sat – 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Club hours: 24 hours a day Sun – 6 a.m. to Sat – 8 p.m.

Olympic Athletic Club’s Kids Korner is open to both members and non-members while they use (and remain) on the premises. Although the childcare is open to ages 4 months and older, little ones younger than a year may only stay up to an hour and a half per day. Reservations are required to ensure space, and can be made up to one day in advance.

Childcare prices: $7.00 per hour 6 weeks to 9 months old/$6.50 per hour 10 months to 3 years old/$6.00 per hour 4 to 8 years old
Childcare Hours: Mon to Sat – 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Club Hours: Mon to Fri – 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Sat to Sun – 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Pro Sports Club in Seattle allow member’s children to stay in their childcare area up to three hours while they use, and remain, on the premises. Non-members (or out-of-town guests and kids’ friends) can enjoy the club by purchasing a one-day, three-day, one-week or two-week pass.

Childcare prices: free for member’s kids ages one to 10
Childcare hours: Mon to Thurs – 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Rainer Health & Fitness club is a non-profit community gym, which has offers group exercise classes, a seniors program, cardio and strength-training equipment, guidance from personal trainers and a women-only access on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

AllStar fitness has a 58,000-square-foot gym and a three-story, indoor climbing rock. Its Kid Club accepts member’s children from 3 months to 12 years in age. Payment is made via punch cards, which are picked up (and paid for) at the front desk.

Childcare hours: Mon to Fri 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Sat – 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.; Sun – 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Club hours: Mon to Thurs – 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; Fri – 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Sat – 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; Sun – 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Magnuson Athletic Club’s MiniMAC Kids Club is open for member’s children between the ages of 6 months to 14 years for two hours daily maximum. Here, the club focuses on the wellness of the whole family, so meet with MAC’s nutritionist and wellness coach in addition to taking time away form the kiddos to sweat it out.
