In the Roman calendar days were not sequentially numbered. The middle of the month was known as its ide. Julius Ceasar was assassinated the Ides of March in 44BC.He was warned in Shakespeare’s play by a soothsayer, “Beware the Ides of March”. Here are a few local Ides of March events you might like to attend… no warnings needed.
