Century Ballroom’s Kids Dance Camp

Does your kid dream of being a dancer… or have excess energy to burn? Century Ballroom is endeavoring to foster the love of dance in the next generation by presenting two week-long dance camps, centered around different dance styles. All students will be exposed to Swing, Tap, Latin, Pop Choreography and Hip Hop. They will learn different dances and will be able to choose one to focus on. Each day there will also be non-dance activities and a lunch break. The workshops are run by Century Ballroom’s faculty with years of teaching and dancing experience. ProjectFUN Summer Workshops are the perfect way for students to explore high-tech careers, express their creativity, and make new friends in an exciting, challenging, and fun environment. Blue Plate cooking camps are focused on cooking from scratch. Learn different cooking methods, baking, sautéing, frying and roasting. Learn knife skills, food safety and sanitation as well as tricks of the trade. The summer camps will introduce your child to a large variety of foods. Campers make all of their lunches and snacks from scratch each day. They’ll even learn to flip fried eggs like the pros. The week culminates with a take-home meal for 4 that is ready to heat and enjoy.
