It’s the Eastside’s largest 4th of July Event! Enjoy an all-star lineup of entertainment including live music by Aaron Crawford and Idol Eyez. and free kids’ activities. The Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra accompanies the spectacular fireworks show. Plus, stop by the 94.1 KMPS booth beginning at 6:00 pm for giveaways and to meet on-air personalities. A fun filled day at Lake Meridian Park on the shore of Lake Meridian. The City of Renton invites you to celebrate Independence Day in Renton. Enjoy free children’s activities and face-painting, live music, and new this year are free rides in Voyageur canoes. The fireworks display is set off from the shores of Lake Washington at 10:00pm.

Red, White and Blues Festival

Fireworks will light up the sky over Celebration Park for Federal Way’s annual Red, White and Blues Festival. The family fun begins at 6 p.m. July 4th with live music, crafts and activities for all ages. Admission is free. Live music kicks off at 6:00 p.m. with local artists Michelle Taylor & The Blues Junkies, Randy Hansen, and Dance Factory. World renowned performer and Federal Way resident, Roberto the Magnificent will resume duties as the main stage Master of Ceremonies. Activities for children and families will include patriotic arts and crafts, three-legged races, a tug-of-war, a hot dog eating contest, and an open volleyball court. The evening will finish with a 20-minute choreographed fireworks show at 10:15 p.m. Bring lawn chairs or blankets for watching the fireworks.

This event includes a noon bike parade, various entertainment on two stages, a kids craft tent, an arts & crafts grove with over 50 artists, a car show, 8 inflatable rides, a rock wall, euro-bungy trampolines and other fun activities for children. The event also offers bingo, mini golf, bocce, food concessions, and so much more. Come see for yourself, this naturally shaded park and spray park will keep you cool during the afternoon. Wristbands for unlimited activities are sold for $5 but there is a selection of free activities too.
