SandSations has been a favorite event in Long Beach for more than 25 years. There will be free sand sculpting lessons on Friday, July 27, plus a beach bonfire Friday night. Saturday is the big day, with five hours of sculpting on the beach and the Sand Flea Pet Parade at 12:30pm. The Peninsula Saddle Club presents their 67th annual Long Beach Rodeo. The festivities begin with a rodeo parade thru downtown Long Beach at 6:30pm on Friday night. On Saturday, start your day with our famous cowboy breakfast served from 7:00am to 11:00am. The Northwest Professional Rodeo starts each day at 1:00pm. It will feature top cowboys and cowgirls in the northwest competing in Bareback, Saddle Bronc, and Bull Riding, Breakaway Roping, Calf Roping, Team Roping, Steer Wrestling, and Barrel Racing.
