It’s on its way – the Puyallup Fair! From September 7 – 23, the fair will have rides, food, entertainment, and fun for all ages! C’mon, “Get Your Happy On” and Do the Puyallup!

You’ll want to check out all the different special activity days like Monday Madness, Military Mondays, Happy Hour Thursdays, and Firework Fridays! Opening Day, Friday, September 7 is the Free Gate Food Drive; admission is FREE from 9:00am – 12:00pm with a non-perishable food item for Puyallup Food Bank.

Kicking off the Fair is the Western Rodeo Parade on Friday, September 7 at 10:00am. The streets around the fairgrounds are filled with equestrian drill teams, draft horse hitches, military marching bands, musical entertainment, royalty, and cowboys on horseback!

Of course, there will be plenty of food that the Puyallup Fair is famous for. In fact, Condé Nast Magazine recently named the Puyallup Fair’s Fisher Fair Scone as one of the top nine fair foods in America!

There are concerts, entertainment, plenty of rides and kids’ activities, 4H animals and exhibits, Fiestas Patrias, art and culture, NW Outdoors exhibits, and a new Rainforest Adventure, complete with plants and animals like toucans, turtles and geckos who make their home in the world’s rainforests. Meet naturalists and see how the rainforest ecosystem is important to our environment!

Also to the fair this year is the exhibit Our Body: The Universe Within. It’s a traveling artful and educational exhibit consisting of actual human bodies and organs. Appropriate for all ages, this exhibit literally goes “under the skin”, revealing the mysteries of the human anatomy. It allows you insight to the inside: giving one a true look at the inner workings of the extraordinary human body. Plus, learn about tips for healthy living. This exhibit is an extra fee inside the fair, Adults, Seniors & Students: $7; Kids 5 & Under: FREE. The exhibit will be available for viewing September 8 – September 23.

There is convenient parking across from the fairgrounds. Cost is $10/vehicle Monday – Friday and $12/vehicle on Saturday and Sunday. New this year is an easy off-site parking lot for you to wait to pick up your passengers. Located at 3rd St. SW & 4th Ave. SW (across from the Puyallup Library).
