Join the fun on at the Seattle Center’s 50th birthday party! The Big Birthday Bash is a community-wide party, and part of The Next Fifty celebration, with entertainment, kids activities, vintage cars, music, FREE Playway rides, venue admissions and cake! Admission is FREE.

Grab your dancing shoes and head to the free outdoor dance at the Seattle Center, as part of of the Seattle Center’s Big Birthday Bash celebration. DJ’d music by Hallie Kuperman, owner of the Century Ballroom. Swing, salsa, tango, waltzes and two-step! It happens on the top of Fisher Pavilion.

Come experience a celebration of Japan’s rich cultural heritage at the 15th annual Aki Matsuri (Japanese Fall Festival). Free admission and parking. Two full days of on-stage Performing Arts, Martial Art demonstrations by local dojo members, J-Pop performances, Puppet Shows based on Japanese Folk Tales, a Tea Ceremony and Ikebana demonstrations, more than 75 exhibit booths, and workshops (bonsai, shakuhaxhi, and taiko). Meet with Aki Matsuri Mascot and friends! Plus, browse through “Nomi-no-ichi … a Japanese style flea market” to make a lucky find!
