September 8 – 16 is Washington Cider Week. If you love hard cider, you’re in luck! There are lots of events celebrating local ciders and bites. Check out the website and their Facebook page for all the tastings happening around Puget Sound and elsewhere in WA this week. Here are some of our favorites.

Ice Cider Tasting Event

Join Deluxe Foods’ Rebecca Staffel for a hands-on pie class! Learn the basics of a flaky butter crust and then cook up some Washington Cider Chess Pie. Participants will go home with a fresh pie and a lot of confidence! Please wear closed-toed shoes and bring an apron and a box to carry your pie home. Pie plates and all ingredients and tools will be provided. $60/person. Call or stop in to register.
