The 5k is a trail race around the dirt trails at Sehmel Homestead Park in Gig Harbor, and this year there’s a 1 Mile Kids Run as well as a free Kids Dash! Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 male and female 5K finishers. Every runner will also receive a fun finishers medal!

Monster Mash Dash 5k/Fun Run

The Monster Mash Dash is a family 5k fun run and walk along Shoreline’s Interurban Trail. Costumes are encouraged and prizes will be awarded for the best costume in each age group as well as best group costume. The race will not be officially timed, but will be officially fun. Haunted Hustle 5K and 10K

The 5k race is a flat course that is suitable for walkers, strollers, and wheelchairs. The 10k is more “frightening” with the hills and scary views of Woodbine Cemetery. Pumpkin Push 5K to Care for Seattle’s Homeless

Runners and walkers who dare to enter the moonlit Halloween 5K Run or 2.5 Mile Family Dash will be treated to a race unlike any other in Tacoma! The Halloween-themed event features a glowing race course through the woods, costume contest and family-friendly fun. Costumes are encouraged–especially glowing, reflective or lighted costumes. Glow sticks, headlamps, flashlights and decorated strollers will add to the fun. Walkers, kids and strollers are welcome. The finish line party will include a costume contest, door prizes, music, snacks and beverages (water, coffee, tea, hot cocoa).
