The coats can be new or gently used and will be dispersed by local charity organizations and schools for those in need. Coats of all sizes can be dropped off between 8:00am and 7:00pm daily.

Sometimes a warm coat is all it takes to ease a burden and warm a heart – especially during the winter months. A One Warm Coat drive is an easy and convenient way to help people in need in your community. The goal of a One Warm Coat Drive is to provide any person in need with a warm coat, free of charge. Open your closets and donate those clean, reusable coats in any size – child through adult. The coats will be collected by WSCAI and distributed to the Eastside Baby Corner and St. Vincent de Paul – Seattle.

For nearly 20,000 NW foster children a warm winter coat can be a rare luxury and as the weather gets wetter and colder, the need for a warm coat gets stronger. To help Sleep Country USA is collecting new warm coats for local foster children. Just bring your donation of warm coats for kids big and small to any Sleep Country and they’ll be given to a local foster child in need. You can also donate online and Sleep Country USA will do the shopping for you.

Many youth and adults across the greater Seattle area struggle during the winter months because they are unable to afford proper winter attire. C. Joy Salon and the nonprofit organization Friends of Youth, want to help those in need with its Third Annual Give Warmth Coat Drive. Donations are accepted through December 12 at C. Joy Salon. Donations will be given to Friends of Youth in Redmond, Washington.
