Fall Tree Festival

Kids can climb a tree, create leaf art projects, go on a scavenger hunt and participate in other activities. Staff arborists will be on hand to answer tree care questions. The kids’ tree climbing is supervised by certified arborists who bring ropes, harnesses and helmets to help kids climb safely. In addition to tree climbing, kids can create leaf art projects and explore Point Defiance Park through a creative scavenger hunt. While in the park, families can help out with a Green Tacoma Day project or watch the Japanese Tree Presentation Ceremony (10:30am near the Pagoda).
