Be among the first to step inside the dazzling new MOHAI, Seattle’s Museum of History and Industry at this community-wide celebration on December 29!

The beautifully restored new facility will provide MOHAI with 50,000 square feet of exhibit space—come explore, participate in special programming, and see amazing live performances in this exciting new space in South Lake Union.

On Saturday, December 29th, 2012 MOHAI will re-open its doors at its new location in South Lake Union Park. Admission is FREE on that day and there are activities, food, and fun planned for the entire weekend.

At the heart of South Lake Union, the new MOHAI at Lake Union Park is easily accessible by bus and streetcar. The South Lake Union streetcar connects MOHAI and Westlake Center, running every 15 minutes or better throughout the day. Metro buses also provide a one seat ride to within blocks of MOHAI from neighborhoods across the city, including Queen Anne, Fremont, Ballard, the Central District, Mount Baker, and Georgetown.

Then on New Year’s Day, 2013, bring the whole family and be one of the first to experience a day of fun for the whole family! Coat check will be available. No strollers, please. Activities are FREE with paid admission on New Year’s Day.
