Washington State Parks is kicking off its 100th birthday celebration in 2013 with events across Washington state, including a Free Entrance Day into Washington State National Parks.

On Monday, January 21, 2013, the following parks will be Fee Free for entrance fees, commercial tour fees, and transportation entrance fees:

Fort Vancouver National Historic Site
Lewis & Clark National Historical Park
Mount Rainier National Park
Olympic National Park
Whitman Mission National Historic Site

Then, on Thursday, January 24, it’s the Deception Pass Open House. See the newly renovated Cornet Bay Retreat Center Recreation Hall during the annual open house at Deception Pass State Park.
