Faye is a talented artist and potter. She teaches both kids and adults, of all skill levels, during her classes, school break camps and parties. Adults can learn the potters wheel, demonstrations on functional forms and hand-building. If you’re just thinking about pottery, but not sure, why not try a one-time experience potter’s wheel workshop at Dahl. This workshop will introduce (or re-introduce) you to the basic skills of working with clay on the potter’s wheel and will provide you with the understanding of what it takes to use the wheel. No previous experience is required. The workshop includes a demonstration, hands-on clay experience, materials, firing and all the tools you’ll need. Plus, there are ongoing classes for kids, teens and adults. You’ll learn functional hand built pieces and sculptural work using various techniques as well as the pottery wheel.
