The latest report from CBS News indicates aid is quickly coming in to the areas in the Philippines hit by Typhoon Haiyan.

The powerful storm desvastaed the region on November 8, 2013 and then continued on into Vietnam and Southern China. According to CBS News, officials fear there are thousands of dead in the Philippines, and some expect that millions will need basic aid during the still-unfolding rescue and recovery process, to say nothing of the billions of dollars in damage to homes and infrastructure.
