(1090 The Fan) — Mariners got you down? The Seahawks are here to the rescue.
For the rest of the month of April, Cinerama will be holding viewing parties for the film Super Bowl XLVIII Champions Seattle Seahawks. The 75 minute film (which absolutely flies by) documents Seattle’s historic 2013 season, culminating with the 43-8 romping of the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII.
Tickets for each screening are $12 apiece and can be purchased beforehand at cinerama.com.
“The screenings provide a perfect outlet for Seahawks fans to gather together, re-live the team’s most successful season and start preparing for the NFL Draft,” Cinerama Operator Greg Wood said in a release. “We invite fans to come in their game day attire and cheer along.”
What makes this ticket extra special, however, is that 12% of all ticket sales will be donated to “Ben’s Fund.” The fundraiser was launched in 2012 by Seahawks GM John Schneider and his wife Traci to provide grants for families supporting a child, or children on the autism spectrum in the state of Washington. Money raised goes towards covering medical bills, therapy sessions and other resources to help combat the condition.
