(1090 The Fan) — Seattle Mariners utility Willie Bloomquist joined The Steve Sandmeyer Show from Arlington Tuesday ahead of the team’s two-game series against the Texas Rangers.

Bloomquist touched on Robinson Cano’s recent comments regarding the Mariners having “what it takes” (to make a run), saying, “That’s Robbie. He’s going to tell you what he feels and isn’t going to tell you something he doesn’t believe. He believes it. We, as a team believe it. I’ve been on bad teams and I’ve been on good teams. This team has as much, (if not more) talent as any team I’ve been on. And we aren’t healthy yet.”

The utility player also talked about the benefits you get after going through rough stretches at the plate.
