BELLEVUE, Wash. (AP) — Police say a man has died in a knife attack at a fast-food restaurant in Bellevue and an assailant has been captured.

Bellevue police say in a statement that officers responded to a Burger King in the 14600 block of Northeast 24th Street at about 3:20 p.m. Sunday after receiving reports of the stabbing. The suspect fled, but officers apprehended him in a nearby parking lot without incident.

Police say a man between 35 and 40 years old collapsed outside the restaurant and was pronounced dead. The Burger King is closed as detectives investigate.

Police say they believe just the one suspect was involved. The identities of the victim and suspect have not yet been released.
