Let’s face it: The Super Bowl is more than just a game nowadays. There is a pregame concert, an extended National Anthem, a celebratory coin toss, a half time concert and, of course, post-game ceremonies. With all the hoopla outside of the actual game, there has to be a master of ceremonies keep everything running and to have it be organized and entertaining.

With that being said, here are the six people we think should hold down the fort!

1) Michael Strahan

Strahan provides the best of both worlds in regards to professional football and entertainment. The 15-year-veteran spent his entire career with the New York Giants, won Super Bowl XLII and set the record for most sacks in a single season. Earlier this year, he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The 42-year-old is also an analyst on Fox NFL Sunday as well as a co-host of the morning show Live! with Kelly and Michael (with Kelly Ripa). His bubbly personality makes him an excellent candidate!

2) Jim Parsons

Best known for playing Sheldon Cooper on The Big Bang Theory, Parsons has four Emmy Awards under his belt as well as a Golden Globe Award. He’s proven himself to be a charismatic leader among the Hollywood elite. Parsons would shine on the biggest TV day of the year.

3) Simon Helberg

Helberg’s filmography shows he is a go-to guy for important roles. Since 2007 he’s played Howard Wolowitz on The Big Bang Theory — a role that crowned him Best Supporting Actor at the Critics Choice Awards in 2013. Hellberg was also nominated as Male Scene Stealer at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards, but fell just behind Chris Colfer who worked on Glee.

4) Kaley Cuoco

The 28-year-old rising star is married to professional tennis player Ryan Sweeting. Cuoco (and Sweeting) lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and would be extra enthusiastic as an emcee if the Miami Dolphins were to make it to the big game. The actress has played the role of Penny on The Big Bang Theory since 2007.

5) Kunal Nayyar
