(1090 The Fan) — Immediately following the Seattle Seahawks’ unbelievable NFC Championship victory over the Green Bay Packers, defensive end Michael Bennett borrowed a bike from a police officer for an impromptu ride around CenturyLink Field.

On Saturday, that bike was auctioned off for $10,000 during a Seattle Police Department Foundation benefit.

Half of the funds will go towards Bennett’s work with childhood obesity, according to KOMO. The rest will go towards the Seattle Police Department Foundation’s efforts to fight domestic violence and child exploitation.

Bennett said he will sign the bike for the new owner.
