SEATTLE (CBS) – What started as a small Facebook event has grown to a much bigger women’s ‘march against hate’ and gathering in solidarity of those oppressed or underrepresented.

Over 5,000 people have RSVP’d to the Facebook event, with 20,000 people saying they might attend the march.

The event is not only a march, but a day filled with speakers, a performance and an open mic to those who want to share their stories.

Speakers begin Saturday at 1 p.m. at Volunteer Park Amphitheater in Capitol Hill. The march will start at approximately 1:30 p.m. and end in Cal Anderson Park.
