Currently showing under the big top that is the home of Teatro ZinZanni is the show, “The Return of Chaos.” In this superhero-themed show, the Emerald City is under attack as a villainous mastermind has plans to “shower the city in gloom and doom.” Some of the greatest superhero crime fighters you have never heard of before have come together to fight another battle of good vs. evil…while taking a break to serve you salad. Teatro ZinZanni’s shows are a mixture of circus acts, live music and comedy with a few winks to the inappropriate served in between five course of delicious food. “The Return of Chaos” continues its run until Sept. 13, 2015.

The family-friendly show not only takes place on stage, but at your table as well. Everyone is a suspect, and we know that you wouldn’t want it any other way. In 2002, restoration began to transform the space into the music and dinner theatre that we know and love today. Located in the historic Pike Place Market, The Pink Door serves up sublime Italian-American dishes in an elegant setting complete with free, live entertainment. As their website says, “from the trapeze artist swinging over guests in the dining room to couples entwined on the patio taking in the Elliott Bay view, what’s not to love?” Cabaret shows can include anything from jazz ensembles to lingerie shows to, believe it or not, a tap-dancing saxophone player. Shows are presented every night except for Mondays.
