Fitness fanatics unite annually at Seattle’s Centurylink Field event center for the two-day Seattle Health and Fitness Expo. In addition to hosting the Rock ‘N’ Roll Marathon, you’ll also find a number of health and fitness products at this convention. Some examples include fitness and sports apparel, running gear and last-minute essentials for the marathon and nutrition and health information provided by several companies in the Wellness, Health and Fitness industry.

The Seattle Retro Gaming Expo is the first of three gaming conventions held in Seattle during the summer. In 2016, it will take place at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall, bringing together several networks of gamers from the Seattle-Tacoma area and beyond. It features a free-play gaming area, gaming panels, numerous video gaming vendors and much more.

The Seattle Tattoo Expo is a three-day event that will be held in Seattle Center’s Fisher Pavilion. This annual convention features highly talented tattoo artists and ink-related vendors from all over the United States. It also offers tattoo-related seminars that are insightful and entertaining, as well as fun, daily contests to win great prizes.

Dragonflight Convention

The annual Dragonflight Convention has been around since 1980 and will be held at The Bellevue Hilton. Hundreds of gamers come out for this convention each year to sample the best of the best in board games, role-playing games, Role Playing Game Association (RPGA), Live-Action Role-Playing (LARP), card games and miniatures. Attendees can not only engage in on-site gaming, but can also attend scheduled seminars, visit vendor booths and participate in a live auction of gaming collectibles.

Held at the Washington State Convention Center annually, the PAX Prime gaming convention tends to draw more than 20,000 visitors each year. It features all things related to gaming, including board games, PC games, console video gaming and much more. PAX Prime is a four-day (Friday through Monday) event held over Labor Day weekend. Visitors to the convention can also sign up to attend the live panel and concert events.

The annual Steamposium convention has moved to the Washington State Convention Center for 2016. This event showcases a number of steampunk-related events, artists and performers. Past Steamposium conventions have featured the skilled performances by the Three Steam Circus, as well as burlesque superstars Angelique Devil, Waxie Moon, Violet Tendencies and Vienna LaRouge. Steamposium also features guest musical performances and the opportunity to meet television stars such as Eddie McClintock of “Warehouse 13.”

The Seattle Center Exhibition Hall will host the 15th annual Brickcon LEGO convention. Attendees have the opportunity to view thousands of LEGO created models from around the world. If you’re a building fan, you can also try your hand in the convention’s building zone area and construct your own LEGO masterpiece. Tickets for this event go on sale in June.
